So often in scripture we see the story of God’s people encountering their God in encounters that radically change their lives! One instance is in Exodus 19 when we first see Moses go to Mt. Sinai and meet with God – Moses’ life and the lives of God’s people, the Hebrews, are changed because of those encounters with their God. As we prepare for camp, our prayer is that Encounter Week would be just that – a week encompassed by an encounter with the living God that will forever change who we are!
