Meet the Staff
Ricky joined the staff of Lane Prairie Baptist Church in June of 2012. He served as the Associate Pastor/Student Pastor, until becoming the Executive Pastor in August of 2020. In March 2021, the church called Ricky to serve as the Lead Pastor. Ricky has his Bachelor’s Degree in Church Careers, with a Minor in Youth Ministry from East Texas Baptist University. He has served as Youth Pastor in Southern Baptist Churches since 2000. He also served as the Director of Operation CRISIS, a benevolent ministry of the Waco Baptist Regional Network. Ricky has been married to Candace since December 2003 and they have two sons, Jacob and Cooper.
Dawton came from Brazil and began serving as Interim Minister of Worship in December 2020, and he became the Minister of Worship of Lane Prairie in November 2021. Dawton as a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his lovely wife Camila since June 2010 and has two energetic and beautiful daughters, Esther and Olivia, for whom he would die for. He served in leading worship as a volunteer since around 2007. Dawton likes Sci-Fi, Star Wars, Video Games, playing and singing, watching cartoons with his daughters, and going out for food with his wife.
Aaron joined the staff of Lane Prairie in August of 2022. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University in Information Technologies and a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Aaron married Emily in 2010 and they have one child name Karis. Aaron is passionate about connecting the next generation with the Gospel through the church. The goal of his ministry is to make disciples and equip them to make disciples and together to change the world.
Jordan joined the staff in January of 2025. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia College and State University in Spanish and is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Divinity program at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Tiffany, have been married since October of 2018. They have a daughter, Adalynn, and a son, Thaddeus. Jordan was a student pastor at First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake, Florida for four and a half years before following the call to go to seminary. He has a heart for teaching and working with children and their families.
