The Blackwood Quartet is a gospel group that consists of brothers Roy, Doyle and James Blackwood, along with Roy’s son R.W. Bill Shaw and Bill Lyles later joined the group with James and R.W. Blackwood. This gospel country quartet started featuring on TV shows across the nation including Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters, Hee Haw and many more.
